Focus Cue: Back on Track · Effective October 10, 2026

Theme:

Focus Cue: Back on Track ("Focus Cue", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") is designed to help users track personal progress, understand urges and avoidance patterns, maintain goals and motivation, organize everyday responsibilities, review life progress, manage manually entered financial information, and use game-style progress features.

This Privacy Policy explains how Focus Cue handles information when you use the app.

1. Information Stored by Focus Cue

Most information entered into Focus Cue is stored locally on your device.

Depending on the features you use, this may include:

  • Tracker entries relating to urges, avoidance, pressure, stress, energy, outcomes, categories, reasons, notes, time, and progress
  • Training sessions and practice information
  • Motivational quotes
  • Goals
  • Reminders and reminder dates
  • Maintenance Mode checklists, routines, progress, and related activity
  • Life Stats information such as XP, levels, progress, streaks, skills, and activity records
  • Coins, rewards, purchases, Market items, and related in-app progress
  • Ledger information such as account names, manually entered transactions, income, payments, balances, projections, classifications, and notes
  • Cue Feed saved TikTok links and related video identifiers
  • App settings, preferences, categories, themes, and currency settings

Focus Cue does not operate a developer-controlled cloud account system for this information. The app does not require you to create a Focus Cue account or sign in.

2. Local Storage

Focus Cue primarily stores app data locally using device-based application storage, including browser-style IndexedDB and local storage provided through the Android application environment.

This information generally remains on your device unless:

  • you manually export it;
  • you use a feature that communicates with an external service, such as Cue Feed;
  • advertising services process advertising-related information; or
  • you intentionally share or save information outside the app.

Focus Cue does not intentionally upload your Tracker, Motivation, Training, Maintenance Mode, Life Stats, Ledger, Coins, Market, or settings information to a developer-operated server.

3. Ledger and Financial Information

The Ledger feature allows you to manually enter financial information for your own organization and planning.

This may include account names, income, payments, transaction amounts, opening or projected balances, recurring payment information, classifications, and notes.

Focus Cue does not connect directly to banks or financial institutions. The app does not request your online banking username, banking password, PIN, or other bank login credentials.

Ledger information is stored locally unless you manually export or share it.

4. Cue Feed and TikTok

Cue Feed allows you to save and view TikTok video links for motivational or personal use.

When you use Cue Feed, information may be sent to TikTok in order to resolve links or load video content. This may include TikTok URLs you provide, TikTok video identifiers, your IP address, browser or device user-agent information, referrer information, browser-managed cookies, and other standard network or web-request information.

TikTok content is provided and processed by TikTok, not by Focus Cue. TikTok may process information according to its own privacy policies and terms.

Focus Cue does not directly read or manage your TikTok account credentials.

The Android version of Cue Feed may use Chrome or a Chrome Custom Tab to display TikTok content. Browser storage, cookies, history, and related browser information may therefore also be handled according to your browser settings and the browser provider's policies.

5. Google Fonts

Focus Cue may use Google Fonts to provide application typography.

When the app requests font resources from Google, Google may receive standard network information such as IP address, user-agent information, requested font resources, and potentially referrer information.

Focus Cue does not intentionally attach your Tracker, Ledger, Motivation, Training, Maintenance Mode, Life Stats, or other locally stored app records to these font requests.

Google's handling of these requests is governed by Google's own privacy practices.

6. Advertising and Google AdMob

Focus Cue uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertising.

The app may display banner advertisements and optional rewarded advertisements.

Depending on your device, region, privacy settings, and applicable law, Google Mobile Ads may process information such as IP address, general or approximate location inferred from network information, interactions with advertisements, ad impressions and views, ad clicks or taps, video-ad interactions, app interactions, device and application information, diagnostic and performance information, Android Advertising ID when available and permitted, App Set ID, and other applicable device or advertising identifiers.

Google may use advertising-related information for purposes including ad delivery, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and advertising personalization where permitted.

Focus Cue does not intentionally provide Google AdMob with your locally stored Tracker, Ledger, Motivation, Training, Maintenance Mode, Life Stats, Goals, Reminders, or similar personal app records for advertising purposes.

Focus Cue does not sell your personal information.

7. Rewarded Advertising and Coins

Focus Cue may offer optional rewarded advertisements.

For example, a user may choose to watch a rewarded advertisement in exchange for a specified number of in-app Coins.

A reward is provided only after the advertising system confirms that the reward requirements for the advertisement have been completed. Opening, loading, clicking, or closing an advertisement before the required completion event does not automatically qualify for a reward.

Coins are virtual in-app items intended for use within Focus Cue. Coins do not represent real-world currency, cannot be exchanged for cash, are not cryptocurrency, and do not represent a bank account, investment, or stored financial value.

Watching rewarded advertisements is optional and is not required to use the app's core tracking and productivity features.

8. Advertising Privacy Choices and Consent

Focus Cue uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to help manage advertising-related privacy requirements.

Depending on your region, applicable law, device configuration, and Google's requirements, you may be presented with a privacy or consent message regarding advertising.

Focus Cue attempts to determine whether advertisements may be requested before requesting applicable advertisements.

Your advertising privacy choices may affect whether you receive personalized advertisements, non-personalized advertisements, limited advertisements, or other forms of advertising supported by Google.

Where applicable, advertising privacy choices may also be managed through Google, Android, or device privacy settings.

Focus Cue does not treat silence or lack of user interaction as permission where consent is required by the applicable advertising framework.

9. Analytics and Developer Tracking

Focus Cue does not currently use separate developer-operated analytics services such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Sentry, or third-party marketing analytics platforms.

However, Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process advertising-related usage, diagnostic, device, and interaction information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Focus Cue does not use your locally stored Tracker, Ledger, Motivation, Training, or similar records to create advertising profiles.

10. Permissions and Device Access

Focus Cue does not intentionally request access to precise device location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone calls, SMS messages, calendar, Bluetooth data, health sensors, or your general photo or media library.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may access the Android Advertising ID or other applicable identifiers when those identifiers are available and their use is permitted by Android, Google, applicable privacy settings, and applicable law.

Focus Cue uses internet access for features including Cue Feed, TikTok content, Google Fonts, Google AdMob advertising, privacy and consent services, and other features that require external network resources.

Focus Cue may also use Android foreground-service functionality in connection with the Cue Feed browser experience where required.

11. Manual Backup, Export, and Import

Focus Cue provides user-controlled export and backup features.

Depending on the feature used, you may export information in formats such as JSON, CSV, or TXT.

Exports occur only after you request them.

Exported files may be stored as regular files in a location you select or through an Android document provider. Exported files are not encrypted by Focus Cue and may be accessible to other applications, cloud-storage providers, or services that you choose to use.

Once exported, those files are controlled by you and by any storage provider or application with which you choose to store or share them.

Focus Cue also allows supported backup files to be imported back into the app.

Android automatic app backup and device-transfer backup for Focus Cue are disabled where configured by the application.

12. Clipboard

Some Focus Cue features allow you to copy summaries or other information to the Android clipboard.

Once copied, clipboard information is handled by Android and may be available to other applications according to Android's clipboard rules and your device settings.

Focus Cue does not operate a remote clipboard-storage service.

13. Data Sharing

Focus Cue does not intentionally share your locally stored Tracker, Ledger, Motivation, Training, Maintenance Mode, Life Stats, Goals, Reminders, Coins, Market, or settings data with the developer or advertisers.

Information may leave your device in limited circumstances, including when you use Cue Feed and communicate with TikTok, when Google Fonts resources are loaded, when Google AdMob or the Google Mobile Ads SDK processes advertising-related information, when Google's privacy or consent services are used, when you manually export or share a file, when you copy information to the system clipboard, or when you intentionally provide information to another service.

Advertising-related information processed by Google may include network, device, identifier, diagnostic, advertising-interaction, and app-interaction information as described above.

Focus Cue does not sell personal information to third parties.

14. Data Security

Focus Cue stores most user-created information within Android's application storage environment. Android provides application sandboxing designed to prevent unrelated applications from directly accessing another application's private storage.

Focus Cue does not currently apply additional application-level encryption to locally stored Tracker, Ledger, Motivation, Training, Life Stats, Coins, or similar app records.

Manually exported JSON, CSV, and TXT files may be stored as plaintext unless you separately protect them using your device, storage provider, encryption software, or another tool.

Users should avoid entering information into Focus Cue that they would not want stored on their device.

No method of electronic storage, software security, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. Data Retention

Locally stored information generally remains on your device until you delete an individual item, reset a feature, use Clear All Data, clear the app's Android storage, or uninstall the app.

Different app features may also provide individual deletion controls.

Manually exported files remain outside Focus Cue and are not automatically deleted when the app is cleared or uninstalled. Those files must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them.

Advertising-related information processed by Google is subject to Google's own retention practices and privacy policies.

16. Clear All Data

Focus Cue includes a Clear All Data feature in Settings.

When confirmed, Clear All Data removes Focus Cue-owned locally stored information, including applicable Tracker and History entries, Training data, Motivation quotes, Goals, Reminders, Maintenance Mode data, Life Stats data, Ledger data, Coins and applicable in-app progress, Market-related local data, Cue Feed saved items, settings, preferences, and related application state.

The app uses explicit deletion of Focus Cue-owned storage rather than indiscriminately clearing unrelated browser data.

On Android, Focus Cue may also attempt to clear Cue Feed information stored under its dedicated local browser origin without clearing unrelated Chrome data or TikTok cookies.

In uncommon cases where a previous Cue Feed session used a different local loopback port, older Chrome site storage may need to be cleared manually through Chrome's site-data settings.

Clearing Focus Cue's local data does not automatically delete information already processed or retained by independent third-party services such as Google or TikTok.

17. Uninstalling the App

Uninstalling Focus Cue removes application-owned local data from the device as handled by Android.

Because Android automatic backup is disabled for Focus Cue where configured, the app is not intended to automatically restore its private application data through Android Auto Backup.

User-created exported files are not deleted when the app is uninstalled.

Browser-managed data associated with external services or Chrome may remain subject to the browser's own storage and deletion rules.

Information previously processed by third-party services is governed by those services' privacy and retention policies.

18. Third-Party Services

TikTok
Used by Cue Feed to resolve and display TikTok video content.

Google Fonts
Used to provide application typography where applicable.

Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK
Used to provide banner and rewarded advertisements. Google may process advertising-related network, device, identifier, diagnostic, and interaction information according to Google's privacy practices.

Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
Used to determine whether advertising privacy or consent messages are required and to help present applicable privacy choices.

These third-party services operate independently from Focus Cue and may collect, process, retain, or share information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Focus Cue does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party websites, advertising networks, browsers, or services.

19. User Accounts

Focus Cue does not currently provide Focus Cue account creation, login, cloud profiles, or developer-operated account storage.

Because no Focus Cue account is created, there is no Focus Cue account-deletion process.

Locally stored data can instead be removed through application deletion controls, including Clear All Data, clearing Android application storage, or uninstalling the app.

20. Children

Focus Cue is not specifically designed as a service directed toward children.

Advertising availability, personalization, and privacy treatment may depend on Google Play classifications, advertising settings, user region, age-related requirements, and applicable law.

If Focus Cue's intended audience or Google Play audience configuration changes, this Privacy Policy and advertising configuration may be updated accordingly.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if Focus Cue's features, advertising practices, data practices, third-party services, platform requirements, or legal obligations change.

When the Privacy Policy is materially updated, the effective date at the top of this page will be revised.

Users should review this Privacy Policy periodically for changes.
